    Very good

The owners were lovely and friendly and the breakfast good and hearty.

Being right in the town centre there was a lot of traffic noise at night but it was only a one night stop-over as we were travelling on the next day. Also, my husband's disabled Mum was with us and she had to climb 4 flights of stairs to the rooms which wasn't ideal.

I've stayed at the Bank Guest House three times, in three separate rooms, and for the money it is one of my favourite places to stay in the uk. The owners are friendly, but not intrusively so, and the rooms are recently decorated to a fine standard, warm and comfy.

Had a great night's sleep here en-route to Orkney. Beautifully decorated guest house - impressive entrance right up to large, comfortable en-suite room, also decorated to a high standard. We had an early start in the morning and breakfast was served promptly - a hearty start to our day and greatly appreciated. We would highly recommend this place. Higher standard than we expected for the cost, and some of the loveliest owners/staff we have encountered on our trip so far.

Lovely rooms with quality bedding and fixtures, and a lovely family in charge genuinely friendly. Plenty of free parking at the back of the guest house, and within easy walking distance of local resturaunts and bars.

    Very good

The family running the guest house were very helpful and friendly. The food was good and I particularly liked the old fashioned building which was tastefully decorated.

Angela and William were very friendly and welcoming. Building was quiet. Breakfast was good. Central location in Wick.

Streets around hotel were a bit noisey until about 11pm but then all quiet. All rooms are on the top floor but no lift. Not a problem for us but would be for anyone uncomfortable with more than a few steps.

Very good location, right in the centre of the town and just a couple of minutes' walk from the railway station. Very friendly staff, a nice atmosphere, comfortable room and good breakfast.

    Fabulous

The location was convenient and was was within easy reach of restaurants for evening meals and my work. The room with en suite shower room was large, clean and comfortable complete with large screen TV. Breakfast, including service, was excellent. My wife accompanied me and enjoyed the local countryside while I was working.

Parking was 'public' and for one night I had to leave valuable equipment in the car. The guest rooms are at the top of the 3 storey house with high ceilings. I am on the list for a new knee, therefore currently stairs are a problem. Like many older properties the 1 metre high stair wall doubles as the hand support which for most people is perfectly adequate. However, I am currently 'wearing out' the additional hand rail I have fitted at home (which has a similar low wall staircase). The land lady, however, kindly carried my small suitcase down the stairs.
